Condemning the Horrific Abductions in Oriire Local Government. “it's a dark day for education and peaceful living” by Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK).

Image
It is with a deeply shattered heart and a profound sense of outrage that I unequivocally condemn the horrific and coordinated attacks by armed bandits on Community Grammar School in Ahoro-Esiele, Baptist Nursery and Primary School in Yawota, and L.A. Primary School in Esiele, all within the Oriire Local Government Area of Ogbomoso.  The heartbreaking abduction of dozens of innocent students, pupils-including a two-year-old toddler-and dedicated teachers from the very sanctuaries of learning is an abominable crime against humanity and the future of Oyo State. My deepest condolences go to the family of Mr. Adesiyan Adegboye, the dedicated educator who was brutally murdered during this senseless invasion.  The distress videos of our school administrators, teachers, and students pleading from captivity are agonising to watch, and they serve as a grim reminder that our state is currently grappling with a severe security deficit that can no longer be met with mere politi...

Image
I recently had the profound honour of attending the celebration of life and burial party held in glorious memory of the late patriarch of the Oyebamiji family, who passed on to glory at the venerable age of 106. The exceptionally colourful event was held in honour of the father of our esteemed brother, Hon. Atiku Oyebamiji, the Chairman of the APC Oyo Central District. I attended this memorable gathering in the highly distinguished company of our party’s gubernatorial flag-bearer, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD, and the exceptional representative of Oyo Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, Senator Yunus Akintunde. Beyond the celebration of longevity, the occasion served as a beautiful, warm opportunity for us to bond, laugh, and constructively deliberate on the collective future of our great party and our dear state.  I am particularly humbled by the immense mutual admiration, fluid camaraderie, and progressive chemistry that characterised ...

SHAME ! FREE BARABAS PARADE OF "BISHOPS" ON ABUJA STREETS.

Image
It was a mingling of people wearing shorts and T-shirts together with about four wearing may be newly sewed cassocks with the leader putting up a James Bond like sun glasses all trying to masquerade themselves as Bishops and servants of the Most High GOD yet what they were asking for was evil, the freedom for a person declared wanted by the EFCC for obtaining money by false pretence in conjunction with another person already apprehended.  THE NOMENCLATURE: Nobody would have cared if charlatans had gathered themselves for such oddity in poking their nose into a criminal matter already situated within the powers of a High Court in Abuja but the shame of it all was that the motley crowd that came out protesting on the streets of Abuja held itself out as a " College of Bishops and Peace Initiative Movement" led by one supposed Bishop Abel King of no church name or address.  An ordinary Google check of the name touted by the so called College of Bishops shows that they...
