Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem AKK Joins Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli At Jumat Victory Service After Primary Election.


Today, Friday May 22nd 2026, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem AKK, along side with the Oyo State APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, together at Jumat Victory Service Prayer at Bodija Housing Central Mosque, Ibadan.  

AKK, while reacting after the jumat prayer says it's all about giving thanks to almighty Allah, who is the beginning and the end of everything, we returned all glory to God for standing with by us, the victory and success of the primary election is to build a better environment and future for the good people of Oyo State, it's going to be a collective assignment and journey, together we shall make Oyo State great. 

Once again, Congratulations to Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, almighty Allah will bless, guide and lead through the journey.

ADAMU CIROMA: STUDIED HISTORY ; APPOINTED CBN GOVERNOR, LATER FINANCE MINISTER

Was it fate? Was it competence? Whatever it was, Adamu Ciroma, a Historian, was the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from September 24, 1975 till June 28, 1977. Here's the story according TheCable: In 1975, the military government of Murtala Muhammed appointed Ciroma as the CBN governor. Kole Omotosho, in his book, Just Before Dawn, wrote that Ciroma, who was managing director of New Nigerian, was to be appointed the managing director of Daily Times, while Aliko Mohammed, an accountant, was to be made CBN governor. Omotosho said at the swearing-in, Murtala Muhammed mistakenly gave Ciroma the papers assigning him the governorship of CBN and Mohammed the papers as MD of Daily Times.
