ELEVATED AND MOVING AHEAD.

With gratitude to Almighty Allah, I am deeply honoured to announce my elevation from Ekarun Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland to Ekerin Balogun Olubadan of Ibadanland. I sincerely thank His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, and members of the Olubadan Advisory Council for the trust, honour and confidence reposed in me through this elevation. I receive this new responsibility with humility, gratitude and a renewed commitment to serve with loyalty, dignity and respect. I was unable to personally attend the elevation ceremony at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, as I am currently in the Holy Land performing Lesser Hajj (Umrah). I am grateful to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to seek His blessings and guidance at this important moment in my life and to offer prayers for Ibadanland, Oyo State and our people. OLUBADAN ELEVATES FOUR HIGH CHIEFS IN BALOGUN LINE

Yesterday, Friday 81th September, 2026 His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Sen) Adewolu Ladoja approved the promotion of four High Chiefs in the Balogun chieftaincy line. 1. Oba Abiodun Azeez Agagugu: Elevated from Ashipa Balogun to Osi Balogun of Ibadanland. 2. Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin: Elevated from Ekerin Balogun to Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland. 3. Oloye Agba (Sen) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli: Elevated from Ekarun Balogun to Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland. 4. Oloye Agba Samuel Adegboyega Adeniran: Elevated from Abese Balogun to Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland, thereby becoming a member of the Olubadan-in-Council. Kabiyesi congratulated the newly promoted High Chiefs and charged them to continue to serve Ibadanland with dedication, loyalty and commitment to tradition. The alleged controversy surrounding the candidacy of the popular Broadcaster cum Politician, Oriyomi Hamzat as the 2027 governorship candidate of Accord in Oyo state has finally been laid to rest by the Party's secretary in the state, Hon. Olayinka Dairo who authoritatively confirmed during a Live radio programme in Ibadan on Friday that Oriyomi Hamzat is the Guber Candidate recognised by the national electoral body, INEC. Oyo 2027: Oriyomi Hamzat Purchases 120 Okadas For Grassroots Accssibility, Begins Batch By Batch Distribution

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli, has appointed seasoned journalists and communication professionals to key positions in his campaign media and publicity team.
