APC Leaders in Ibarapa Central/ North Resolve on Zoning for 2027 Elections
Leaders of the All Progressives Congress in the Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency have formally agreed on the zoning of key elective positions ahead of the 2027 general elections, in a move aimed at strengthening internal cohesion and improving electoral outcomes. The resolution was reached on Thursday, March 26, 2026, during a constituency stakeholders’ meeting held at the party secretariat in Igboora. The decision was documented and jointly signed by the constituency chairman, Chief Francis M. Babalola, and the secretary, Chief T.A.A. Adenrele. According to the communiqué, the zoning arrangement is a strategic response to the party’s performance in the 2023 elections, which leaders described as an ugly embarrassing situation that must not be repeated.
