The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Friday formally unveiled its governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly candidates for the 2027 general elections, with Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli emerging as the party's governorship candidate. A major political tsunami has hit the Oluyole Local Government chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo state as a former Secretary of the council and chieftain of the party, Alhaji Adedokun Wasiu Adegboyega, alongside his political followers, defected to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has commenced the grading of inner community roads across various parts of the council. The move according to him, is geared towards improving accessibility and easing transportation for residents within the council.
