I recently had the profound honour of attending the celebration of life and burial party held in glorious memory of the late patriarch of the Oyebamiji family, who passed on to glory at the venerable age of 106. The exceptionally colourful event was held in honour of the father of our esteemed brother, Hon. Atiku Oyebamiji, the Chairman of the APC Oyo Central District. I attended this memorable gathering in the highly distinguished company of our party’s gubernatorial flag-bearer, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD, and the exceptional representative of Oyo Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, Senator Yunus Akintunde. Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State have formally adopted Senator Sharafadeen Alli as the party’s consensus governorship candidate ahead of the forthcoming primary election. The leaders reaffirmed Alli’s adoption on Wednesday during a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Prof. Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
