OYO 2027: HOME AWAY FROM HOME MEDIA TOUR OF ACCORD GUBER CANDIDATE, DR. ORIYOMI HAMZAT

The governorship ambition of Accord candidate in Oyo State, Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat has continued to receive the support of all important stakeholders.

In what can be described as a home based support, the broadcast media industry has publicly demonstrated its support and commitments to ambition of the foremost broadcaster and political gladiator.

Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat who toured broadcast stations for two days was warmly received with  joy from one Radio Station to another  for having the courage to pursue what was long considered to be an exclusive right of bourgeoises from other professions.

From Tuesday to Wednesday, the Accord candidate and his entourage visited Jamz 100.1 fm, Splash fm, Lagelu fm, Fresh fm, Solution fm, Omoluabi fm, Success fm and many other stations in the first phase of the radio tour.

At the Jamz fm media parley, the gubernatorial candidate was advised to keep to his promise of 75m each at both right and left of the circular roads across the six local governments of Ido, Oluyole, Ona-Ara, Egbeda, Lagelu and Akinyele. Responding to questions concerning lands across the corridor of circular roads, Oriyomi said " I will serve Oyo State people transparently and I will be servant to the people, circular roads will not take more than 75 meter at  each side"

At Splash fm, he was described as one of the leading guber candidates by the General Manager, Mr. Tunde Olawuwo, saying "we have done our analysis, Accord is on ground as one of the leading parties, more so, Accord just won governorship election in Osun State" .

Success fm's engagement with Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat, can best be captured as 'home away from home' as the General Manager of the radio, Adeshina Jagunmade popularly called Paj1 could not hide his joy over a broadcaster being in the guber race.
