EKITI IS OPEN FOR INVESTMENTS, PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS

*Ekiti is Open for Investments, Partnerships and Collaborations: Ekiti Diaspora Relations Directorate Reiterates as Air Peace Launches Direct Flights from Nigeria to UK*
London, 29th March 2024

In consonance with her unwavering commitment to showcasing Ekiti to the world, the Director- General of Ekiti Diaspora Relations, Barr. (Dr) Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa, again re-affirmed opportunities in Ekiti State of Nigeria, inviting Global Investors to beam their lights on Ekiti and explore its countless resources and opportunities. She made this call during her speech at an event (led by some top members of the management of Air Peace) heralding a new era in Nigeria air travel - the inauguration of Air Peace direct flight from Nigeria to UK organized by the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit under the leadership of Prince Bimbo Robert Folayan, Founder/CEO.
In her remarks, she expressed her excitement about the development as it signifies a new dawn in connecting Ekiti-Kete and Nigerians in the Diaspora to their homeland thereby promoting cultural ties and economic opportunities. She rejoiced that investors and tourists would also have the experience of travelling with a Nigerian Carrier.

She applauded the organizers of the cocktail event and encouraged the Nigerian Diaspora community to continually support their own as this is one of the ways to develop credible international reputation, grow our services and sustain business ventures and investments as is the case the world over.

In emphasising the on-going Ekiti Diaspora Relations campaign slogan "Ekiti to the World", she welcomed "Air Peace to the World"!

The event, held at the Clermont Hotel Charing-Cross, The Strand, in the heart of London, on the night of Thursday 28th into the early hours of Friday 29th March 2024, was graced by the Head of Information, Mrs. Ubong Johnson, representing the Acting Nigerian High Commissioner, Amb Cyprian Heen, who pledged the High Commission's support for Air Peace as it begins operations in London. Other dignitaries in attendance ranged from business leaders, UK-Nigerian community champions, friends of Nigeria and numerous celebrities. Among them were Mr. Abass Abayomi Tijani (DJ Abass), Princess Moradeun Adedoyin-Solarin, Former two time Mayor of Enfield Kate Anolue, Lady Christine Adamu, Lady Jenny Okafor, Mr Ayo Akinfe, Mr Alistair Soyode including (Dr) Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa, the Director-General, Ekiti Diaspora Relations.
Also present were Mrs. Carolyn Onyebuchi-Adelakun, Otunba Ade Adesina, Pastor Niyi Zaccheus, Counsellor Funmi Ademiluwa, Mr Mike Abiola, Lady Doyin Ola, music star Sade Aboderin (Shady Blue) and Mrs Ndy Balogun, to mention a few.
The caliber of attendees was a testament to the wholehearted acceptance of the Nigerian diaspora community of this epoch-making event.

The program preceded the inaugural Lagos-London flight scheduled for March 30 2024. Air Peace had set the economy ticket price lower than that of competitors. Thereby, significantly reducing the cost of the journey on this route to make travelling more accessible and affordable. The Director-General hoped that this air service would explore special benefits and ways to meet the travel needs and enhance the mobility of the Ekiti Diasporans as well as other Nigerians, while promoting business, tourism and investments.
She encouraged Diasporans to remain positive and not to get discouraged when issues occur but to reach out to the Air Peace management with constructive criticism, suggestions and encouragement on best practice in achieving success.
