IBADAN NORTH-WEST AGOG AS HONOURABLE OLALERE EMPOWERS CONSTITUENTS TO MARK BIRTHDAY

Friday the 26th of January 2024 will for a long time be memorable in the mind of the good people of Ibadan Northwest Local Government Area of Oyo State as the honorable that is representing them in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Daud Olalere rolled out four-in-one programmes to give back to the constituents that voted him into the parliament.

At the Ebenezer Public Primary School, Salvation Army Road, Ekotedo, venue of the event, were various people from all works of life who came to honor man of the moment and for other reasons.

Some came to honor Honorable Daud Olalere, Chairman House Committee on Security and Strategy who is marking his birthday with other three notable programmes, such as graduation of ICT graduants numbering 88 graduates selected from all the wards in Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Cash donations to beneficiaries, drowned from the camp of politicians and residents that includes non Yoruba speaking group and lastly unveiling of notebooks for the use of pupils and students in public schools.

While unveiling the notebooks, the Special Guest of Honor, Governor Seyi Makinde, through is representative, Double T, also known as Olori Ebi , commended Honorable Daud Olalere efforts in moving closer to the people and gradually changing the trajectory of quality representation.

He however, on personal note, pledged the sum of five hundred thousand naira while encouraging the people of Oppo, Yeosa, Idi-kan areas to embrace education.

Earlier, the celebrant, D Al-meen, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the opportunity to be alive to reach out to the good people of Ibadan Northwest Local Government. His words " I am grateful to God Almighty for his mercy and gift of life to do what we are doing. I also thank all the dignitaries and indeed my people that are here to celebrate us"

Hon. Olalere equally admonished all the beneficiaries of the programmes to make judicious use of the knowledge earlier acquired and the money.

Responding, The Chairman of PDP in Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Hon. Lukman Adesina described the celebrant as "a brother and a good representative of the people"

Among the dignitaries that grace the occasion were PDP State Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Baale Ekotedo; Chief Taye Ayorinde, Hon. Comforter from Ibadan North State Constituency 1 , former member of the State Assembly from the same local government in person of Hon. Olufemi Josiah etc
