Residents of communities in Ayegun-Oleyo as well as commuters in the Oluyole local government area can now finally heave sigh of relief as the lawmaker representing Oyo central senatorial district, Dr. Yunus Akintunde has finally facilitated the construction of the road. Tapping into solid network he has built over the years, Akintunde, before his election, had, together with his friends, decided to reconstruct a kilometer of the bad portion of the road. The Oyo-born politician who believes that  commuters within Ayegun, Oleyo, Odo Ona Elewe and others areas must experience new lease of life, had, for close to a year since he was inaugurated, lobbied to get the federal government construct the whole stretch of the road. Bayo Bashir Ojulari, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), is a seasoned Nigerian engineer with expertise in petroleum, process, and production engineering.   Before his new appointment, He was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Renaissance Africa Energy Company. His Renaissance recently led a consortium of indigenous energy firms in the landmark acquisition of the entire equity holding in the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC), worth $2.4 billion.   He began his career as the first Nigerian process engineer at Elf Aquitaine before joining Shell Petroleum Development Company in 1991.
