Senator Alli donates bus, N10m to strengthen Oyo APC Secretariat


A leading governorship aspirant, 
Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli has reinforced party strength by donating a brand new 18-seater bus and N10 million to the All Progressives Congress Secretariat(APC) in Oyo State.

The donation was received by the state executive council led by its Chief Moses  Adeyemo on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Adeyemo praised Alli’s loyalty, dedication and consistent contributions toward strengthening party structures statewide.

The party chairman said that the bus would 
improve logistics, mobility, and coordination for party activities, while the financial support is expected to boost administrative efficiency and operational capacity ahead of critical engagements statewide efforts.

Hon. Fatai Adesina, the party Secretary, commended the senator for his consistent commitment, unwavering support and remarkable dedication to party growth, describing his efforts as exemplary and worthy of emulation by others.

Mrs. Felicia Opatunde, the State Women Leader, urged the senator to remain gender sensitive in all engagements, stressing the need to prioritise women inclusion, empowerment and active participation in party programmes.
Hon. Glory Olalekan, the State Youth Leader, advocated greater youth participation, urging the senator to ensure inclusiveness, create opportunities and give young people a stronger voice in decision-making processes.

Earlier, Alli reaffirmed commitment to unity, noting strong party structures are vital for good governance, aligning his gesture with Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The donation further reinforced Alli’s image as a bridge builder, reflecting his deep commitment to party growth, unity and the overall welfare of its members.

This gesture by Alli is a consolidating momentum ahead of the forthcoming political contests, strengthening his influence and expanding his reach across the state.

Residents of Owode Housing Estate, zone 4, Apata, Ibadan South West Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Friday, staged a peaceful and advocacy protest against undeveloped land measuring over four thousand plot of virgin lands and many abandoned houses, calling on Governor Seyi Makinde to take urgent step in addressing the problems.
