Alli urges unity, hope as Nigerians welcome 2026
Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has congratulated Nigerians, particularly the people of Oyo State, on the successful crossing into the New Year 2026 with renewed hope.

Senator Alli described the new year as a fresh opportunity for reflection, recommitment and collective action toward building a stronger, more prosperous and united nation despite prevailing challenges.
The Senator acknowledged the resilience of Nigerians in the face of economic and social pressures, noting that their perseverance remains a critical pillar sustaining the country’s democratic journey.
He commended President Bola Tinubu for his bold reforms and policy directions, expressing confidence that ongoing interventions would gradually yield positive outcomes for the masses.
Alli urged citizens to continue supporting government efforts at all levels, stressing that sustainable development requires patience, understanding and active participation from the people.
The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to effective representation, people-oriented legislation and constituency-focused interventions aimed at improving the welfare of his constituents.
He prayed for peace, good health and abundant blessings in 2026, calling on Nigerians to embrace unity, love and shared responsibility for national growth and stability.
