Aderogba Taofik, Congratulates Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, Former Oyo First Lady On Her Nomination As Ambassador


Hon. Comrd. Aderogba Adebayo Taofik, mni; the immediate past Deputy National President 
of the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Union in Nigeria, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 House of Representatives aspirant in Ibadan North Federal 
Constituency has congratulates the former First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Dr. Florence Ajimobi, on her nomination as an ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

With great joy and heartfelt admiration, I celebrate the nomination of Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, former First Lady of Oyo State, as an Ambassador by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. 

This honour is a testament not only to her personal strength, grace, and unwavering service to humanity but also to the enduring legacy she has continued to uphold since the passing of her beloved husband, the late former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

Mrs Ajimobi’s commitment to the progressive ideals of APC and the development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is uncommon. She is endowed with a remarkable level of native intelligence that drives results for the good of society.
Her nomination stands as a reflection of the respect, trust, and long-standing relationship between President Tinubu and her late husband, a relationship built on loyalty, shared vision, and deep mutual  regard, and that bond speaks again through this remarkable recognition, 
affirming the values of dedication, integrity, and commitment to national development that both men championed.

Her new role is both an honor and a responsibility, and we are confident that she will represent Nigeria with dignity, wisdom, and excellence, just as she has always carried herself 
in public and private life. 

While anticipating the Senate’s confirmation, Aderogba expressed joy and congratulations to 
the matriarch of the Ajimobi dynasty, who continues to uphold the ideals of democracy and progressive politics in Oyo State and Nigeria.

Residents of Owode Housing Estate, zone 4, Apata, Ibadan South West Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Friday, staged a peaceful and advocacy protest against undeveloped land measuring over four thousand plot of virgin lands and many abandoned houses, calling on Governor Seyi Makinde to take urgent step in addressing the problems. According to the protesters, evil people are using the avenue to perpetrate crimes against humanity. Addressing hundreds of protesters, President of Apata Youths Organization, Comrade Olaoluwa Paul Oyeniran called on the government of Oyo State to help the people of Owode Housing Estate zone 4 , Apata, reiterating that abandoning properties for over forty years constitute societal danger.
