GOVERNORSHIP ; OYO STATE APC IS UNITED TO DISLODGE PDP COME 2027....DR. ADEGBOLA

One of the leading governorship aspirants on the platform of APC in Oyo State, Dr. Gbenga Adegbola rtd. has assured the public that his political party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, is united in Oyo State for the sole purpose of taking over the Agodi government House in 2027.

The OKE-Ogun politician made this opinion known on Friday while featuring on OKODORO, a political and current affairs Yoruba program on Jamz 100.1 fm which was anchored by an award winning broadcast journalist: Amb. Afolabi Olayemi.

Responding to a question about how united Oyo State APC is, Dr. Adegbola said "the reason for mentioning all our esteemed leaders from our able chairman, Pharmacist Olaide Abass, distinguished Senator Teslim Folarin, Hon. Fatai Ibikunle, Sen. Ayo Adeseun, power minister etc should let you know that we are united in Oyo State APC for the singular aim of winning the 2027 gubernatorial election.

On the Oke-Ogun agenda, which has reached the zenith of agitation, that Oke-Ogun be allowed to produce the next governor of Oyo State. He said " personaly, I believe, what should drive development of Oyo State is competence and experience however I understand that for development to spread across Oyo State, after Ibadan, Oke-Ogun should be the next governor, then Ibarapa, Oyo, Ogbomoso and then back to Ibadan. "Every zone has a competent governorship aspirant"

Do Oke-Ogun zones have politically exposed politicians to compete with Ibadan? The guest says;" From Oke-Ogun 1, Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, Iwajowa to Oke-Ogun 2, we have eminently qualified gubernatorial aspirants like Dr. Gbenga Adegbola, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, Barr. Bayo Shittu etc from APC side, and Sen. Hosia Agboola, Amofin Adeoye Beulah etc from the PDP, I have confidence that Oke-Ogun is blessed with first class gubernatorial personalities".

What are you doing to secure the ticket?

Responding; "We are not leaving any stone unturned, we are discussing, building bridges, and promoting a vision that will accelerates development across Oyo State. I'm the Aare Akinrogun of Ibadanland who is ready to prioritize people centered governance, the very reason party faithfuls are with us".

Can you deliver a gubernatorial victory for your party, APC, if given the ticket?

Dr. Adegbola said I have been going around Oyo State, meeting our traditional and royal fathers and I can tell you that the level of acceptance is very encouraging and APC is ready to dislodged PDP in Oyo State come 2027.

What do you have to say about the performance of your party at the national level under President BOLA AHMED TINUBU?

I tell people that we are very lucky to have a good leader in person of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is offering a courageous and purposeful government, I will use my constituency as an example, people like general Akinrinade spent 35 to 40 years in the Nigerian Army without realizing their full potential to the fullest despite their brilliance and commitment of loyalty to the Nigerian project. No Yoruba man has ever become Chief of Army Staff before but President Tinubu has changed the narrative. Look at the wonder Zach Adelabu Adedeji is performing at the Federal Inland Revenue Service, the president is working tiredlessly for the benefit of all.
