TAOFIK ADEROGBA, CONGRATULATES SENATOR FOLARIN OVER CHIEFTAINCY ELEVATION AS AARE ALAASA OLUBADAN OF IBADANLAND


The Ibadan born unionist, the current Asst Social Secretary of Omo Aj’orosun club of Ibadanland and one of the leading aspirants in Ibadan North Federal constituency - Hon Aderogba Taofik, mni , has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Chief Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin on his recent elevation and installation as the Aare Alaasa Olubadan of Ibadanland by the Olubadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin.

In a statement issued to the public, Aderogba acknowledged the significance of the honour and commended the traditional institution for upholding established procedures in its recognition of deserving individuals. His words;
"Your elevation to Aare Alaasa Olubadan is not only a personal achievement but a source of pride to all of us in Ibadanland and Oyo State. Your political strides and unwavering dedication to community development have rightly earned you this recognition by the revered Olubadan, Aderogba reiterated".

Senator Folarin, who formerly held the title of Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadanland, was recently installed in the new traditional capacity in line with the customs and chieftaincy arrangements of the Ibadan traditional council.
The Aare Alaasa title carries a weight of cultural and historical relevance in the traditional structure of Ibadanland. I congratulate Senator Folarin and wish him clarity of purpose and strength in this new responsibility.
