MID-TERM: TWO YEARS OF EXCELLENT PUBLIC SERVICE DELIVERY; ADEROGBA TAOFIK, mni, EXTOLS PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU'S LEADERSHIP AND COMMITMENT TO THE NIGERIAN PROJECT
Ibadan North Federal Constituency hopeful and the immediate past Deputy National President of the Food union in Nigeria - Hon Comrade Aderogba Adebayo Taofik, mni, has congratulated President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, (GCFR) on the completion of his two years in office.
In his congratulatory message released earlier today, Com Aderogba expressed his appreciation for the President's unwavering commitment to the development and progress of Nigeria. He noted that President Tinubu's leadership has been marked by a steadfast resolve to address the pressing issues that have hindered the country's growth and development.
“President Tinubu’s efforts to rejig the economy are commendable. Your bold policies such as the fuel subsidy removal, the unification of the foreign exchange regime, fairness, sanity and stability in business have created a conducive environment for businesses to thrive, attracting investments and promoting economic growth. Nigeria is full of potential. With the right leadership, which we now have in you, there is no limit to what we can achieve" Aderogba enthused.
As a player in the private sector of the Nigerian economy, Aderogba reiterated that “under this administration, we have seen a return to fairness and stability in business. We no longer worry about arbitrary shutdowns or politically motivated disruptions. On food security, the President Tinubu’s temporary waiver, which allowed rice to be brought in and milled immediately has resulted into prices drop because the hoarders were cut out. It was a short-term solution that worked. It showed foresight of a resilient and focused President”.
Comrade Aderogba, expressed his support for the ongoing efforts by the PBAT’s administration to curb poverty and inflation, adding, however, that the task of reducing poverty and inflation is immense, it must not be left only for the government, the private sector and all of us as citizens must join in all ways we can, he concluded.
History won’t remember who whined the loudest. It will remember who had the guts to make the hard calls - and who benefited from them. Congratulations on your two years in office, may you keep leading with wisdom and care.
