Today, we stand at the crossroads of history. As we are drawing nearer to the bye election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency. We are not just clamouring for change; we are heralding a new ideological rebirth — a shift towards mass-based governance rooted in the principles of inclusivity, progress, and social justice. We are out to redefine legislative representation with human face. With over three decades of experience in logistics, procurement, and supply chain management, Aderogba Taofik has held key positions in leading organizations, demonstrating his leadership and expertise in the field.

His strong background in supply chain management, labour union leadership, and political engagement, has established him as a visionary leader dedicated to workers' rights, corporate governance, and policy advocacy. 

His vast experience across different sectors, his exposures and trainings both locally and internationally, reflects his commitment to excellence, leadership, and continuous professional growth. 

He is widely connected with the people at the highest echelon of governance in Nigeria today, being a national leader in the labour movement and a member of the National Institute, having attended the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies’ Senior Executive Course 44, as a participant in 2022, on the platform of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC). There is obviously a hand of God in his aspiration for the Ibadan North Federal constituency seat and that divine intervention has prepared Aderogba Taofik for this coveted seat because it’s not a just mere coincidence that the former President Buhari’s led Federal Government administration’s Theme for NIPSS SEC44, 2022 was "Strengthen Local Governance in Nigeria: Challenges, Opportunities, and Options". This was a full-time, one year course of study and theme that took him and his distinguished colleagues of SEC44 all around the globe seeking solution towards having better local governance in Nigeria, there is no iota of doubt that Aderogba is well versed in the art of local governance and well positioned to lead a greater Ibadan North.

Beyond his professional contributions to the private sector corporate governance, the Nigeria labour movement, and a member of the National Institute (mni), he has also been involved in Nigerian politics for a while. He attempted but couldn't secured the Labour Party ticket for the Oyo State House of Assembly (Ibadan North Constituency II) in 2015 but being a party man to the core, he went ahead and spent his time and wealth to run the campaign for the Labour Party candidate in that year general elections. Fortune smiles on him in the 2019 general elections, when he secured the ticket and contested for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly (Ibadan North Constituency II) under the Accord Party, and he is currently a fullfledged member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
