Hon Aderogba Adebayo Taofik, mni, an All Progressives Congress (APC) hopeful for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has joined family members, friends, and admirers to celebrate Senator Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State, on his 75th posthumous birthday.

In a statement released by his media office on Sunday, Hon. Aderogba, mni typified the late Ajimobi as a mentor, a father figure, and a model leader whose leadership and service legacy will continue to motivate future generations. 

“Today, we honour the life and times of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, a remarkable statesman who would have turned 75 today. His vision and dedication to greatness revolutionized governance in Oyo State. He was more than just a governor; he was a father, a mentor, and a statesman”.

"Senator Ajimobi believed in empowering people. I and many others who had the honour of studying under him have been profoundly impacted by his leadership style and teachings. His teachings and recollections will endure forever. As we commemorate his legacy on this unique day, I ask God to grant his family more grace and for Oyo State to continue reaping the rewards of the advancements he planted while he was alive”. May his soul rest in peace forever.
