OYO LG ELECTION: APC WILL EMERGE VICTORIOUS IN OYO STATE....SEN. ALI

The Oyo South Senatorial District Senator, Barr. SHARAFADEEN ALI has expressed confidence that Oyo State APC will emerge victorious in the forthcoming Local Government Elections in Oyo State.

He made this assertion while featuring on Jamz 100.1 fm's current affairs programme; Periscope on Sunday between the hour of 5pm  to 6pm.

The Presenter of the programme, Olayemi Afolabi, an award winning Broadcast Journalist, had earlier asked the senator to comment on the forthcoming April 27th, local government elections.

Responding, Ali said " APC will emerge victorious because presently, the local government system is in comatose, I was a Local Government Chairman and we performed.

The same constitution that our leaders Lam Adesina, Senator Ladoja, Akala and Ajimobi used is the same constitution that is still being used so it's about operator of the constitution "

What magic are you going to use to win? The presenter asked and he said" we have our plans, we won the recently conducted bye election in Saki so I can confidently tell you if the OYSIEC Led by mine learned colleague, Aare Isiaka Olagunju, conducts free and fair elections, then, APC will win majority of the local governments.

Ask to talk about Student Loans which enjoyed accelerated passage by the National Assembly 

The Oyo South Senator said "when we were campaigning, President Bola Tinubu promised to make education a priority for everyone so that Nigerian students can have access to tertiary education like their counterparts in America, Europe and other Western countries and that is why we made the necessary amendments in making sure that student loan is a reality in line with the vision of President Tinubu to make education accessible for all Nigerians"

On his primary assignment as a legislator,  Sen. Ali informed the public that he has moved motions that have been adopted for the purpose of good governance and some are in second reading"

Concerning Humanitarian efforts outside the floor of the Senate, he said in less than ten months I have delivered over forty boreholes to communities across Oyo South Senatorial District and we are going to 100.

Examination Coaching Centers in Ibadan and Ibarapa land were opened to help our students and ICT Training is on the way.
