BREAKING NEWS: OTUNBA ROTIMI AJANAKU JOINS CHIEF ADELABU, DEFECTS TO APC





The Accord Candidate for the House of Representatives Election in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the 2023 general election Hon. Rotimi Ajanaku had written the Oyo State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, the party chairmen in the two local governments that constitute his federal constituency and his ward chairman, informing all of them of his decision, after due consultations with the cross-section of political leaders, his supporters and major stakeholders on his intention to return to the All Progressives Congress.
In a letter dated 13th December, 2023 and received by the party, Ajanaku who was recently appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Stakeholders Management to the Honourable Minister of Power, Chief Abdul-Waheed Adebayo Adelabu, pledged his willingness to join others in the progressive family to rebuild the party in love, peace and tranquillity, with a view to putting Oyo APC in good stead to successfully wrestle power from the ruling party in Oyo State come 2027. 
His words;
"You would recall that we left the APC for Accord alongside with our followers and well-wishers in the heat of the crisis that rocked the party during the House of Representatives Primary in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency prior to the 2023 general elections, when all the internal mechanisms to resolve the crisis yielded no positive result".
