PROWESS UNIVERSITY, DELAWARE, USA HONOURED NIGERIAN OIL MAGNATE KEMI SANI OSHARODE WITH PH.D

At the Otunba Balogun Subomi Conference Hall of University of Ibadan, it was a things of joy as friends, relative and colleagues joined Dr. Mrs. Catherine Oluwakemi Sanni -Osharode on Saturday 11 of November 2023 to receive a new academic award; honourary doctorate degree in appreciation of her numerous contributions to the development of oil sector in Nigeria and globally.

Research shows that Dr. OSHARODE, a graduate of University of Ilorin in Kwara state has over three decades managerial and leadership experience in development of oil and gas and global energy.

A Certified Shell Recruiter, who has recruited, mentored, and trained over 50 Petroleum Engineers across Nigeria, Malaysia and Australia.

Dr. Kemi was one of the Petroleum Engineers that Designed, drilled and produced the first Horizontal Oil Well in African -Sapele.
She has received several global recognization awards.

Catherine Oluwakemi Sanni- Osharode (Kemi), an eminent leader in the management of Oil & Gas Production, was born on November 21, 1968, to Sir John Isola and Mrs Victoria Sanni of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. With a stellar career spanning over three decades, Kemi’s contributions to the global energy supply and her unwavering commitment to developing younger professionals, have made significant impact to the oil and gas industry in Nigeria.

Shortly after her confirment, Dr. Kemi says:

I am profoundly honoured and deeply humbled to stand before you today as an honorary Ph.D. recipient from Prowess University, Delaware, USA, in recognition of my contributions to the field of Oil and Gas Production Management. This accolade is not only a personal triumph but also a tribute to the remarkable individuals and institutions that have shaped my journey.

My career in the energy industry has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence, innovation, and the highest standards of professional practice. Each day, I have been inspired by the transformative power of knowledge, collaboration, and dedication to a shared vision.

Receiving this honorary Ph.D. as facilitated by the duo of Institute of Arts Management & Professional Studies/Ecolrite Institute of Peace Advancement at Prowess University underscores the importance of interdisciplinary learning and the intersections of science, technology, and the arts. It is a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of our world and the imperative to adapt, evolve, and continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Prowess University for this prestigious recognition.
