OYEWUMI KABIR AKINTAYO IS IDO, WARD 10, PDP COUNCILORSHIP CANDIDATE.

OYEWUMI KABIR AKINTAYO A.K.A AKINS has won the councilorship  election of the Peoples Democratic Party in ward  10 of Ido Local Government. 

In the PDP's primary election that was held on Thursday 13th July, 2023 Akins, as fondly called, emerged victorious with 21 votes.

The exercise was conducted by the ward  chairman, Mr. Dayo Afolabi and other political leaders in the ward.

Those who voted are the ward leaders and excecutive leaders.
He emerged  with 21 votes to defeat other two contenders.

Commenting on his victory, Akintayo said " I'm very happy and I really want to use this opportunity to thank my party leaders and indeed all the members that voted for me"

He however, extends his hands of followship to his opponents assuring them of a better deal.

The voting exercise took place at Olupoyi Customery Court, Bembo Area, Apata.

Residents of Owode Housing Estate, zone 4, Apata, Ibadan South West Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Friday, staged a peaceful and advocacy protest against undeveloped land measuring over four thousand plot of virgin lands and many abandoned houses, calling on Governor Seyi Makinde to take urgent step in addressing the problems. According to the protesters, evil people are using the avenue to perpetrate crimes against humanity.
