*OYO GUBER 2023 : AJANAKU PLEDGES TOTAL SUPPORT FOR PENKELEMESI*

The Accord House of Representative Candidate in the just concluded National Assembly Elections in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku has pledged his total and unflinching support for the Oyo State Governorship Candidate of Accord in the March 11 Governorship Election in the State. According to him, it was only Chief Adebayo Adelabu, OFR, that had no blemish, among those contesting to lead the Pacesetter State in the next Saturday's election.

Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku, therefore, charged his followers and leaders of Accord in his constituency to braze up, in preparation for the onerous task ahead. He enjoined the cross-section of party faithful in attendance to commence a door to door campaign in their various wards and never listened to any discouraging lies and rumours being peddled around by the main opposition parties in the state.

While addressing his supporters at his Oke Ado Campaign Office, Ajanaku appreciated all his followers for their resilience and uncommon efforts during the last elections. In his words, "the National Assembly Elections had come and gone. We appreciate God for its outcome."

"We have made our mark and we thank all the communities, associations, religious bodies, professional bodies and all stakeholders that believed in our project. Our focus now is the governorship and house of assembly elections."

"Now is the time for us to go all out from door to door, house to house, unit to unit and ward to ward, with a renewed determination and strength to deliver for our great party at the next Saturdays poll."

"Let nobody be discouraged nor dissuaded by the lies, insinuations and speculations, being peddled around by the main opposition parties in the state that they have the backing of the President-Elect. The result of the last Saturday presidential election in Oyo State has clearly shown that we all worked, across party lines, for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. No party should lay claim on that. It is only the outcome of the March 11 gubernatorial election that would evidently show who truly has the control of our Pacesetter State."

"I do not need to go extra mile to convince you that Adelabu is so much loved by the good people of Oyo State. He is the only candidate without blemish and he is blessed with the capacity to deliver the state from the mess we presently experience. Let's rise up and do it together."

"Let's go all out and vote Accord", Ajanaku concluded.

In his remarks, Alhaji Tajudeen Balogun, one of the party leaders from Ibadan South West Local Government, appealed to Accord supporters never to be weakened by the results of the last elections. He urged members present to go back to their wards and intensify efforts towards winning the next election. 

In a similar vein, Cheif Mrs Mabel Williams encouraged the women and others present to see the next election as a very important outing with optimism that Accord and its candidates will come out victorious. 

In their reactions, party supporters appreciated the courage of Otuna Rotimi Ajanaku and vowed to go all out and deliver for Accord in the 11th March, 2023 Governorship and State House of Assembly Elections.

The meeting was well attended by Accord leaders and members from Ibadan North West Local Government and Ibadan South West Local Government, the two local governments that constitute the federal constituency.
