2023 OYO GUBER: FOLARIN IS OYO STATE NEXT GOVERNOR, MAKINDE OUT ALREADY.... SHITTU.

The former minister of communications, Barr. Adebayo Shittu has said that with the outcome of presidential and national elections which saw Tinubu winning Oyo State with all the three senators and nine out of fourteen house of representative members on the side of APC, governor Seyi Makinde will be easily defeated.

Barr. Shittu stated this on Wednesday at a press conference which had in attendance press men from online, print and broadcast media, held at crescent chamber, Kabiowu street, Mokola, Ibadan.
His words " with the overwhelming support which the good people of Oyo state gave APC in presidential and national assembly elections, one can only conclude that governor Seyi Makinde will be easily defeated on 11th of March,2023 when the gubernatorial  and state house of assembly elections will be held.

Oyo APC won three senators and nine out of fourteen house of representative members plus the presidential election. This is telling us that PDP government in Oyo state will be history in no distance time "

Commenting on rumor going round that the president-elect , Asiwsju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has already sealed a pact with governor Seyi Makinde so that he can retain his position and therefore be reelected.

Shittu said " Asiwsju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is too mature politically to enter into anti party agreement with Makinde, let me tell you, gentlemen of the press, Makinde wasted 22 billions naira to construct motor parks, so clearly, he cannot manage our resources well and Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin is coming to rescue Oyo State with his experience in government having been a lawmaker for 12 years"
