Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency, Rotimi Ajanaku, Thanks Constituents.

The House of Representative Candidate of ACCORD in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency in the just concluded National Assembly Elections has expressed gratitude to the people of his constituency, who stood by him before, during and after the poll. He appreciated his supporters for their sacrifices and commitment althrough the campaigns, election day and the result collation moment.

Ajanaku specifically thanked the people of Odo-Ona and every other community in the federal constituency for making him proud despite the appalling campaign of calumny by some power grabbers, who eventually “lule” despite their huge platform.

He extended his gratitude to almighty God for everything, and all his supporters, friends, family members, and particularly all members of Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku Forum, as well as Accord members for their supports. “We may not be the declared as winner of the poll, but we are not the loser either. We fought a good battle and our statement is loud and clear to all critical observers.”

"We have won a battle of loyalty going by the support we got from our people despite the tsunami many envisaged. Our people have shown that we remain the factor that must be reckoned with in the progressive politics of this federal constituency. We may not be declared winner in this contest, we haven't lost any battle."
Ajanaku appealed to his supporters to remain calm, resolute and undaunted in the face of the current situation while charging them to get prepared for the governorship election, coming up on March 11, 2023, where Adelabu and other house of assembly candidates will be flying the flag of ACCORD. While assuring them of better days ahead, as he promised to continue stand by them, he encouraged his supporters to pick from the lessons, gains and losses of the just concluded election in shaping a better approach to win the next election. “We must not be discouraged nor depressed by our last experience, we are winners and must get back to work and deliver our governorship and all house of assembly candidates.”

He appreciated his campaign team, the party leadership, religious bodies, community leaders, market men and women, and all those who believed in and stood by him all through the electioneering processes... "E se modupe ooo, tori eniyan la so mi. Thank you all".
