The immediate past National Deputy Youth Leader Of The All Progressives Congress (APC) who is also a member of presidential Campaign Council of APC, Hon. Afeez Bolaji Repete has predicted victory for ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU in the forthcoming general elections having paid his dues politically and administratively.

Hon. Afeez Bolaji Repete expressed this optimism about the possibility of Tinubu/Shetima presidency while participating on a live radio program Tagged; PENDULUM on Sunday anchored by the Multiple Award Winning Broadcast Journalist, Amb. Olayemi Afolabi on Space 90.1 FM Ibadan.

Speaking about the personality of Tinubu, Repete said" Tinubu is a formidable force in Nigeria politics, one who has paid his dues politically and administratively. He formed AC in 2007, as a leader, he could have imposed himself as the presidential candidate when he has all it takes to do so but he allowed Atiku Abubakar, a northerner, to be the flag bearer. In 2011, Tinubu fielded Nuru Ribadu as the presidential candidate of ACN and in 2015 when doubting Thomases waved off the possibility of General Muhammadu Buhari making it to Aso-Rock, ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU brought out the political sagacity in him which enthroned the peoples' president and in 2019 we  all saw the immense contributions of ASIWAJU Tinubu to the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari and these political antecedents attest to the tremendous support Northerners are giving Tinubu currently, so Tinubu Shetima presidency is a possibility which will be affirmed by the eligible patriotic Nigerians come February 25th,2023"

When asked by Afolabi if the support Tinubu is enjoying from the north a genuine one owing to the fact that Atiku Abubakar is also contesting from PDP.

Hon. Afeez Bolaji Repete replied thus: "Northerners are very sophisticated people with strong sense of history and I must give kudos to all the Northern Governors that stood firm for Asiwaju Tinubu to pick our party presidential ticket and base on that I have no doubt in my mind that northerners are very genuine and trust worthy and they are ready to elect Tinubu come 2023. In the bid up to the APC presidential primaries when some cabal gang up against power Shift to the South, patriotic Nigerians from the North especially 12 Northern APC Governors  stood their ground for Tinubu so I must say that is why Asiwaju Tinubu is very much popular in the north than the south right now"

'Are you proud of President Buhari administration?' 

the Presenter, Afolabi  asked and Repete says"President Buhari administration is a source of pride to every honest and patriotic Nigerians, he has built a solid foundation in the areas of security, massive infrastructure, empowerment etc legacies that Asiwaju Tinubu is coming to build on".

On his own, a Public Affairs Analyst,Prince Femi Adeoya a co guest on the show said" the major problem Nigerians are facing is basically inflation in food stuff wish is a resultant effect of global challenges from COVID-19 and Russia-Ukrain war".

Adeoya further said" when it comes to political structure and wining presidential election in 2023 only two parties, PDP and APC have national spread even though Atiku Abubakar Chance is been  weaken on daily basis because of G5 governors ideological stance, you can't blame Makinde and co because National Chairman of PDP violated agreement that if a northerner pick PDP presidential ticket he will resign for a southerner to take over but later broke the promise after the emergence of Abubakar"

Commenting on structure and party strength, Hon. Afeez Bolaji Repete stated that" in APC  fold, we have 21 governors presently plus the influence of strong political movement that have joined APC so structurally speaking APC is the party that has all it takes to win in 2023"

Contributing through phone calling, a caller, Bright by name challenged Repete to name two achievements of Tinubu in Lagos because he once lived in Lagos.

Repete Replied; " I doubt if the caller know Lagos at all because Asiwaju Tinubu created LCDA to bring government closer to the people which many states are now coping, there was no LASMA before Tinubu governorship. You will agree with reality that Lekki and reorganization of Oshodi couple with Lagos IGR are legacies you can't take away from Tinubu, a leader that raised leaders without sentiment"

Is APC jittery of the popularity of Peter Obi of Labour? The Presenter asked, Responding, Repete replied thus:" which popularity? Peter Obi is not a match to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. For your information, Peter Obi is living in Lagos Asiwaju built while Atiku Abubakar lives in Dubai. In term of contributions and achievement none of them can meet up with the administrative acumen of Tinubu.
