Nigerian, U.K. Based Human Rights Advocate, Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa Bags Nelson Mandela Leadership Award As ECOWAS AMBASSADOR.
Amb. Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa appointed ECOWAS Youth Ambassador.
At a colourful event in the ancient city of Ibadan, on Saturday 10 December 2022, which also marks Human Rights Day, Amb. (Dr) Barr. Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa was honoured with the Nelson Mandela Award of Leadership and Integrity, as well as being appointed as an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador.
This amazing amazon was the only female so honoured amongst 15 other male Awardees for the year 2022.
Her exemplary work in social advocacy and youth empowerment through her NGO, Oasis Empowerment and Advocacy Foundation, Nigeria and Oasis Organisation, UK is evident to all.
Her work addresses the insidious scourge of Abuse, Youth Crime and Human Trafficking prevalent in Nigeria, the UK and the world at large. Currently, the organisations have vibrant campaigns against Gun and Knife crimes in the UK while in Nigeria it is against Drug Abuse and instilling leadership attributes in the youths – working at the levels of Secondary Schools as well as the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) within Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
Amb. Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa is a Youth Advocate and Strategic Leadership Expert. She is also a Barrister-at-Law and specialises in Construction Law, Arbitration and Adjudication.
