Multiple Award Winning Broadcast Journalist, Olayemi Afolabi, Bags Nelson Mandela Leadership Award Of Excellence And Integrity.

Talented Bilingual Media Practitioner and Multiple Award Winning Broadcast Journalist, Olayemi Afolabi Of Raypower and Space FM,  Ibadan, has Bagged Nelson Mandela Leadership Award Of Excellence And Integrity as Ambassador Of ECOWAS from West African Youth Council.
At the induction ceremony which took place at the University of Ibadan Conference Center on Saturday 10th of December, 2022, the chairperson of ECOWAS Youth Council, H.E Amb.(Dr. ) Emmanuel Williams described Afolabi Olayemi "as a versatile Presenter whose passion for youth libration and good governance advocacy are well noticed and must be appreciated" 
In a similar comment, speaking at the ceremony, Southwest Regional Co-ordinator of West Africa Youth Council, Amb. Dr. Akande, Kazeem Babatunde eulogized Afolabi "as a respected amiable personality who has distinguished himself as a strong voice for the emancipation of Youths from unemployment and oppression and he is therefore worthy of this honour"
It should be noted that in year 2020, W-Global Research Centre honoured Afolabi Olayemi with the award of 'Best Current Affairs Radio Presenter'
In 2021, due to his good governance advocacy on the airwave, Afolabi bagged Advocate Hero Award from CALDA AFRICA.
In the same year 2021, in a keenly contested category of the Most Resourceful Presenter of the year, an award contest, organized by Primus Media City, he emerged victorious at Mauve 21, venue of the ceremony.
In this outgoing year 2022, he has won three notable awards namely; 'Best Political Programme Presenter' from ORODORO Media Concept,

Omoluabi Pataki Integrity Award organized by Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, Oyo State Council at Ilaji Hotel and Resort, Akanran and lastly 'Nelson Mandela Leadership Award Of Excellence And Integrity' which read: "In lieu of your great effort as a prominent and distinguished personality of note with distinction, a leader with passion for youth and societal development"
Politics Today, Okodoro and Pendulum are some of the programmes Afolabi Olayemi host and present on Raypower and Space FM respectively.
Given the unrelenting effort of Afolabi for a better society, Nigeria has a date with industrial revolution.

Residents of Owode Housing Estate, zone 4, Apata, Ibadan South West Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Friday, staged a peaceful and advocacy protest against undeveloped land measuring over four thousand plot of virgin lands and many abandoned houses, calling on Governor Seyi Makinde to take urgent step in addressing the problems. According to the protesters, evil people are using the avenue to perpetrate crimes against humanity. Addressing hundreds of protesters, President of Apata Youths Organization, Comrade Olaoluwa Paul Oyeniran called on the government of Oyo State to help the people of Owode Housing Estate zone 4 , Apata, reiterating that abandoning properties for over forty years constitute societal danger.
