Senator Alli celebrates Akeem Agbaje on birthday, Lauds Legal Excellence


Senator (Dr) Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) has congratulated renowned legal luminary and former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ibadan branch, Akeem Agbaje, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Senator Alli described Agbaje as an outstanding legal practitioner whose contributions to the advancement of the legal profession and justice sector remain commendable and impactful.

The lawmaker said that Agbaje’s tenure as NBA Chairman was marked by visionary leadership, dedication to professional ethics and unwavering commitment to the rule of law, and institutional integrity.

Alli extolled Agbaje’s role in mentoring young lawyers, promoting legal reforms, and strengthening the justice system describing him as a pride to Oyo State.

He added that Agbaje’s consistent advocacy for fairness, equity, and good governance has earned him respect across professional divides, making him a distinguished personality. 
The senator prayed for continued good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments for the celebrant, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would continue to benefit society.

Alli wished Agbaje many more years of impactful service to humanity, urging him to sustain his contributions toward nation-building and the promotion of justice in Nigeria.

Residents of Owode Housing Estate, zone 4, Apata, Ibadan South West Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Friday, staged a peaceful and advocacy protest against undeveloped land measuring over four thousand plot of virgin lands and many abandoned houses, calling on Governor Seyi Makinde to take urgent step in addressing the problems.
