Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has mourned the death of Fadilat Sheikh Murthada Abubakry Gaata Agbotomokekere. This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Mr Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan. Sheikh Murthada Abubakry, a revered figure in the Islamic community, died on Tuesday, February 13, upon his return from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where had observed the lesser hajj. Senator Alli expressed heartfelt and deepest condolences to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry, following the passing of his brother.
